Participants

Leadership
2001 targets individuals who serve -- or expect to serve -- in key roles in
voluntary organizations. We welcome
participants from area business or from local community agencies and groups,
regardless of their experience or sponsorship. Participants must have a
genuine interest in voluntarism in Greater Springfield.
Schedule
--
Leadership 2001 begins Thursday, February 15, 2001 and concludes on March 29,
2001. The graduation banquet will be held at the Colony Club on April 9,
2001.
Each three to four hour session varies format and topics to ensure special
interest.
Tuition
--
Tuition
costs $799 per participant. Includes trip to Boston, Lunch-Reception &
Graduation Dinner.
Application
Process
--
Sponsors (an employer or organizational leader) or individuals can apply to the
program. The three-part application consists of a form available from the
Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield, a letter from the
sponsor, and a letter from the applicant stating interest, responsibility of
past and present positions, education, community activities and interests, and
any other relevant information.
